Henceforth, norelem can supply a wide selection of high quality standard roller chains and the matching sprockets.

The chains transmit power by electric and internal combustion engine drives. The roller chains from norelem guaranty optimum transmission by smooth, alternating or even shock-like operating conditions. They operate quickly, reliably and are almost maintenance-free.

The norelem product range includes European style DIN ISO 606 roller chains with curved links and straight links. The pre-stretched chains are available in steel or stainless steel.

The stainless steel roller chains offer additional corrosion resistance, good chemical resistance and are suitable for e.g. applications in the foodstuff industries with high and low temperatures and in the presence of water.

Roller chains are available as standard as single chains. Double or triple chains can also be supplied on request. A selection of chain links and idler sprockets that are compatible with the chains are also available.

Sprockets and roller chains

To guarantee an optimum compatibility between roller chain and chain sprockets norelem offers matching ISO 606 sprockets with 8 to 125 teeth. The standard range includes chains and sprockets from 3/8" to 1".

The sprockets are available in the following versions:
• Ready-to-use with induction hardened teeth
• Ready-to-use with keyed bore and grubscrews
• Pilot bored with hub
• Ready-to-use idler sprocket complete with ball bearing
• Disc sprockets.

All articles are also available in »stainless steel. A correctly planned chain drive can achieve chain speeds of up to 20 m/s and a service life of ca. 15000 operating hours.

Roller chains and the matching sprockets are very versatile: They can not only be used as drive and gear chains on machines and industrial plants, but also as rack and pinion, transport, lifting and conveyor chains.
