Call for Papers - The first Africa Wire, Cable and Tube Conference
Call for Papers until 31 July
The African continent is currently facing economic challenges. Africa is more than ever in the focus of international investors because of its enormous oil and gas reserves, the many copper mines, the large aluminium reserves and the expanding regional steel industry. International manufacturers of machines and plants for the wire and cable industry and producers of tube manufacturing and tube processing machines are therefore sought-after industrial partners.
The aim is to bring local suppliers and international experts together to discuss future joint investments and projects. This is an opportunity to present yourself to an audience of high-ranking representatives of leading wire and cable or tube companies from all over Africa.
Abstracts or suggestions on the following topics are particularly welcome:
Wire Technical Showcase - Plant equipment for copper and aluminium bars and rods - Wire extrusion and drawing processes - Rolling, pressing, forming, drawing, surface and heat treatment - Machines for the production of fasteners/springs and other wire products
Cable assembly - Cable production lines, stranding and insulation line equipment - Cable coating, marking and printing - Related devices
Pipes and lines - Pipe rolling mill equipment - Seamless pipe equipment - Bending, cutting and welding equipment - Finishing and coating plants
General production and sales process innovation - Digital solutions for risk management: Security systems for cable theft? - System power generation solutions and energy saving measures - Inspection, testing and quality control - Handling, bundling, packaging and logistics
Abstracts are checked against the following selection criteria:
- Relevance for African companies - Degree of innovation of the solution - Quality of presentation
