The Busch Group and Pfeiffer Vacuum have celebrated a significant expansion of their activities in Austria. The new Vacuum Competence Center in Korneuburg will be the future headquarters of both companies, specializing in vacuum applications.
The new Vacuum Competence Center spans a total area of 3,800 m². Here, the two companies will offer their Austrian customers the full range of products and services in modern vacuum and leak detection solutions with nearly 60 employees.
After the official opening, there was an exhibition showcasing the latest products from both companies. In addition to vacuum pumps, leak detectors and mass spectrometers were demonstrated. During the tour of the new site, it quickly became clear that the doubling of the service area enables a significant expansion of the service offerings. Additional rooms are dedicated to creating customized solutions.
Strengthening Market Position in Austria
“With the opening of the Vacuum Competence Center in Korneuburg, we at the Busch Group have taken another important step towards strengthening our market position in Austria and continuously improving our service and product offerings,” said Kaya Busch, co-owner and Co-CEO of Busch Vacuum Solutions.
As another highlight of the opening, the "Vacuum Parcours" gave all guests the opportunity to discover the fascinating world of vacuum. This parcours playfully conveyed the basics of leak detection and the functionality of vacuum pumps. Guests were invited to tackle various challenges, including testing an assembled vacuum apparatus for leaks.
Karl Seiberl, Managing Director of Pfeiffer Vacuum Austria, said: "Within the Busch Group, this is the first location where both companies are united under one roof. We are proud to now offer our customers and partners the entire spectrum of vacuum expertise."
